“Before we were horsemen we were runners … and we ran with prayers.”
Sneak peak for Running On A Wing And A Prayer – which is currently in post-production. The film follows the journey of Lakota youth as they participate in a 500-mile prayer run around the Black Hills to help them overcome the devastating effects of poverty and oppression.
The young people are literally running for their lives as they learn to turn to the ancient spiritual traditions of their ancestors instead of drugs, alcohol, and death. The ancient wisdom and spiritual traditions of the Lakota people empower and strengthen the young, even while they face forces threatening their very existence.
